 Modern Family es una comedia creada por Christopher Lloyd y Steven Levitan. Trata sobre tres familias entrelazadas entre sí.

 Jay Pritchett vive con su nueva esposa Gloria, una joven colombiana, y el hijo de ésta, Manny, un niño que habla y se comporta como un adulto. Jay tiene dos hijos de su anterior matrimonio, Claire y Mitchell. Éste último vive con su pareja Cameron, un hombre muy dramático pero entrañable, y Lily, el bebé vietnamita que acaban de adoptar. Claire está casada con Phil Dunphy, un padre inmaduro. Tienen tres hijos: Hayley, la típica adolescente, Alex, la hija inteligente, y Luke, un niño que ve las cosas de una manera "especial".

  En cada episodio los personajes hablarán a la cámara como si de un documental se tratase, contando divertidas anécdotas o comentando lo que estaban pensando en la escena. Esta disparatada familia te hará reir como nunca a lo largo de dos temporadas y una tercera que se está emitiendo en Estados Unidos.

Claire is married with Phil Dunphy, an immature father. They have three children: Hayley, the typical teenager, Alex, the smart girl, and Luke, a little boy who sees things in a "special" way.

 On each episode the characters will talk to the camera as if it was a documentary, telling funny anecdotes or commenting what they were thinking in the scene. This crazy family will make you laugh like never before throughout two seasons and a third one which is being broadcasted on ABC.
