Rondador Nocturno / Nightcrawler

 Rondador Nocturno (Kurt Wagner) es un personaje de Marvel Comics creado por Dave Cockrum y Len Wein. Apareció por primera vez en 1975 en el número 1 de Giant-Size X-Men. Es un mutante alemán con el poder de teletransportarse. Tiene gran sentido del humor, es aventurero y cinéfilo, y tiene una gran fe en Dios. A pesar de como le trata la gente normal (y a veces incluso los mutantes), él es compasivo y lucha por protegerles.

 Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner) is a Marvel Comics character created by Dave Cockrum and Len Wein. He appeared for the first time in 1975 on Giant-Size X-Men #1. He's a german mutant with the power of teleporting. He has a great sense of humor, he's adventurous and a movie buff, and has a great faith in God. Despite how normal people (and sometimes even mutants) treat him, he's merciful and fights to protect them.

Origen/Origin

 Su madre, Mística, le tiró desde lo alto de una cascada al nacer para huir de una muchedumbre que les perseguía debido al aspecto del bebé (nació con piel azul, ojos amarillos, orejas puntiagudas, colmillos y una cola larga y puntiaguda). Margali Szardos, una hechicera, crió a Kurt junto a sus hijos biológicos, Stefan y Jimaine. Al crecer, Kurt se hizo acróbata en el circo en el que trabajaba su madre adoptiva. Pero cuando su hermano Stefan se volvió loco y asesinó a unos niños, Kurt se enfrento a él y accidentalmente le rompió el cuello. Todos pensaron que el autor de los asesinatos había sido Kurt y le persiguieron. Cuando estaban a punto de matarle, el Profesor Xavier le salvó y Kurt se unió a la Patrulla-X.

 His mother, Mystique, threw him over a waterfall when he was born in order to run away from a mob that was chasing them because of the baby's appearance (he was born with blue skin, yellow eyes, pointed ears, fangs and a long pointed tail). Margali Szardos, a sorceress, raised Kurt together with her biological children, Stefan and Jimaine. When he grew up, Kurt became acrobat at the circus where his foster mother worked. But when his brother Stefan went mad and murdered some children, Kurt confronted him and accidentally broke his neck. Everybody thought the author of the murders had been Kurt and chased him. When they were about to kill him, Professor Xavier saved him and Kurt joined the X-Men.

Relación con otros personajes/Relationship with other characters

  Entre todos los X-Men, con quien mejor se lleva Rondador Nocturno es con Lobezno. Desde el principio demuestran llevarse muy bien y pronto se hacen mejores amigos. Se comprenden y aceptan el uno al otro. Siempre se les puede ver juntos, ya sea durante las misiones, entrenando o en su tiempo libre. Cuando uno de ellos está herido o en peligro, el otro siempre demuestra una gran preocupación.

 Among all the X-Men, Nightcrawler gets along best with Wolverine. From the beginning they show to get along very well and soon they become best friends. They understand and accept each other. They can always be seen together, whether during missions, training or on their free time. When one of them is hurt or in danger, the other always shows great worry.

  Otro personaje que se lleva realmente bien con Rondador es Kitty Pryde. Aunque al principio ésta le tiene miedo, pronto lo supera y le coge mucho cariño. Rondador y Lobezno son como los protectores de Kitty, y juntos comparten muchas anécdotas tanto divertidas como emotivas. Kitty y Lobezno a menudo llaman a Kurt por el mote de "Elfo peludo".

 Other character that gets along really well with Nightcrawler is Kitty Pryde. Although at first she's scared of him, soon she overcomes it and becomes very fond of him. Nightcrawler and Wolverine are like Kitty's guardians, and together they share lot of anecdotes both fun and emotive. Kitty and Wolverine often call Kurt by the nickname "Fuzzy Elf".

 Rondador también es muy amigo de Coloso y Cíclope. En cuestiones amorosas, poco después de unirse a la Patrulla empezó a salir con Amanda Sefton, que en realidad resultó ser Jimaine, a la que había amado toda su vida.

 Nightcrawler is also good friends with Colossus and Cyclops. In matters of love, shortly after joining the X-Men he started dating Amanda Sefton, who actually turned out to be Jimaine, whom he had loved all his life.

 Rondador Nocturno ha aparecido en la mayoría de adaptaciones de X-Men al cine y televisión, pero en mi opinión ninguna de ellas capta su esencia, ninguno llega a ser tan increíble y adorable como el Rondador de los cómics.

 Nightcrawler has appeared in most adaptations of X-Men for film and tv, but in my opinion none of them captures his essence, none of them gets to be so awesome and lovely as the comic-book Nightcrawler.
